At the FISH EAGLE BUSH CAMP you will find the time, surroundings and
most of all, the peace and quiet, to experience and explore nature as it
is intended to. An early morning stroll along the hiking trail and other footpaths may easily result in walking into a herd of kudu, or
onto the spoor of the elusive Cape Mountain leopard. Bird lovers will
not be disappointed. At dusk the fading sunbeams will play havoc with the ever changing colours of the cliffs of the Red Hills and the Swartberg Mountain Range.
The Bush Camp is only reachable by boat, and for tens of kilometres the unspoilt hills and gorges is trackless. Here you are on you own - with
the stars as the only other source of light. This is the place to relax - around a fire in the African veldt - away from it all.
Accommodation is in 4 tents on elevated wooden platforms while the fire
in the lapa should never die. The tents are so positioned that it is
hidden, also from each other, in the thick vegetation of the Acacia
karoo forest.
The camp is fully serviced with toilet, drinking water, shower,
ample firewood, chairs, cooking essentials, lanterns (which changes the
forest to a fairyland at night), etc. and even salads, should you so
prefer. Portage and cleaning is included.
Tariff: R175 pppn (including the boat trips)
